How fast is twitter? Get the current speed at TweeSpeed.

tweespeed-1Twitter is getting faster and faster! The moment I’m writing this, it raves at exactly 11,648 tweets per minute. Have a look at www.tweespeed.com to get the current speed of twitter.

The speedometer is based on the public timeline, it grabs information from the last 5 minutes and calculates an average speed for one minute. Right now it ends at 20,000 tweets per minute, but I guess they will have to raise that limit soon…
